Classic 1984 Audio Research D70, 60 watt/channel, all valve Power amplifier in very good cosmetic condition, minor scratch on face plate other than that very clean and spotless condition. Has been updated to MkII with 6DJ8/6922 been replaced by more 'musical' 6CG7's. The D70 is a small output AR amplifier in comparison to some of the 'Monolithic' Powerhouses that came out of the Audio Research stable. However the 'D70' is contended to be the most valve sounding amplifier of all. A total of 13 tubes, 4 x 6550's, 7 x 6CG7, 1 x 12AX7, 1 x 6550 regulator. Have been running for past 5 hours and appears to work fine, . Output impedance 16, 8 and 4 Ohm. Operates on 220-240Vac . Possibly assist with shipping to Brisbane and Sydney.
